Today, we are in Goddard working with Aspiring Leaders. During the day, participants will learn more about the principalship and have time to participate in mock interviews, work on their resume, and hear from a panel of veteran, high quality school principals from around Kansas!

Today, we also had the opportunity to zoom with our New Principals. New Principal support is part of a collaborative effort between USA-Kansas and @KSPrincipals to make sure new leaders have opportunities to network, learn, and collaborate as they take on the principalship.

The last two weeks, we have had to reschedule a number of events due to weather. Here is a complete list of new dates for all workshops that were cancelled. Please contact us if you have scheduling conflicts with these new dates! usaoffice@usakansas.org

Two of our leaders in Elevate Leadership 3 met this week for their peer on-site visit. Both Corina and Jason moved from principal roles to district roles this year but stayed in Elevate 3 for the learning and peer collaboration. Great leaders working together to elevate success!

Leaders in the Elevate Leadership 2 Kansas City cohort are working hard today on creating a culture of learning. They are talking about academic emphasis and how to establish an unrelenting focus on results. #elevateleadership #edleadershipmatters

We have BIG news! USA-Kansas will be relocating over spring break. The USA-Kansas Board toured the new space on Friday after our meeting. Our crew is working hard to have the new space ready for us. We can't wait to invite you all into our new space in just a few weeks.

Here is your recap of what passed this last week in the legislature. Bills that passed now move to the other chamber for consideration and action. Three bills were 'blessed' meaning they can come up again later. A full email will be sent tomorrow morning. #edleadershipmatters
