This morning, we had the opportunity to zoom with our new principals. Our New Principal Support Program consists of four days of in-person training throughout the year with zoom meetings held in the in-between months. We look forward to working with these leaders all year.

This Friday we are kicking off our AI Professional Learning Circles where we will spend 30 minutes walking through AI tools and leadership practices to support you in being a World Class Leader. The zoom link can be found at https://www.usakansas.org/page/ai-learning-circle

Yesterday, our leader, G. A. Buie, spoke to the Kansas State Board of Education in Topeka at their monthly meeting. We appreciate his leadership in advocating for K-12 public schools, staff, and students. #edleadershipmatters

Today, we also had the opportunity to work with our leaders in Elevate Leadership 1 in Topeka. It was a great first day with these school leaders. A big thank you to Dan Whisler with @TraneMidAmerica for sponsoring lunch and speaking with our leaders. #edleadershipmatters

We are in Topeka today and tomorrow with our leaders in the Emerging Leadership Development for Superintendents Year 1 cohort. Over 20 leaders are taking steps this year to connect, grow, and continue their professional learning. We look forward to working with them this year!

USA-Kansas is a proud partner of the Western KS Career Showcases program and we are excited for them to kick off their 11 showcases this year with the first this Thursday, Sept. 11 in Sublette. On Friday, September 12th, we will be launching our AI Learning Circles - a virtual, 30-minute PLC for those interested in learning more about leading AI integration & initiatives in their school/district. Sessions will be held from 9:00-9:30 and a repeat of that session will be held again from 1:00-1:30. There is no registration required; feel free to join us as your schedule and needs allow!

Yesterday, we had day 1 with our #elevateleadership 1 folks in Garden City. We focused on intentional leadership & having clear mission, vision, and values. Leaders dug in more on their moral purpose before planning next steps. We are excited to work with these leaders all year!

It has been a great day in Topeka working with our cohort of Aspiring Superintendents. This workshop is provided in collaboration with @KASBPublicEd. We look forward to supporting these leaders now and into the future. #edleadershipmatters

We spent the day in Maize working with leaders in SPED and the Building Leader 2. Today, we worked with elementary leaders on the IEP process, the leadership skills required, and tools that can make the work better. This workshop is a collaboration with USA-Kansas and #KASEA.
