Emerging Leadership Development for Superintendents

Year 2 builds on the foundation of Year 1 by helping experienced superintendents apply their leadership skills to real-world challenges. This advanced program focuses on participant-defined problems of practice, peer learning, and targeted strategy development.

Participants will meet in person for five full days spread across the year. These sessions will use structured protocols, collaborative consultancy, and facilitated discussions to help leaders analyze complex issues, share strategies, and develop actionable solutions.

CONTENT

Content will be customized to the group’s needs, with participants setting the learning agenda based on their most pressing leadership challenges. Individual executive coaching will continue throughout the year, scheduled at each participant’s convenience, to support personalized growth and reflection.

The program will deepen mastery of the six executive leadership domains—Visionary, Change, Inclusive, Instructional, Managerial, and Interpersonal Leadership—while fostering a strong, supportive learning community focused on real-world impact.
