KSSA will be sponsoring a New Superintendents' Workshop on June 23-24, 2015 at KASB in Topeka. Valuable information and advice will be given during this workshop to make the adjustment of your first year easier and smoother. Come and hear from the new Kansas Education Commissioner, Randy Watson, along with State School Board Members, Dale Dennis, Craig Neuenswander and Brad Neuenswander. Members from KASB will be providing information on board relations, legal issues and hot topics. Experienced superintendents will help guide you through the first 100 days, provide you with a mentor and answer questions along the way.

This is a FREE workshop for new superintendents only. If you are not a new superintendent and wish to attend this workshop, there will be a $100 registration fee. Any questions may be directed to the USA|Kansas office (785-232-6566).

Recent reports indicate that some school district firewalls may be blocking communication from USA|Kansas and some of our member associations. Sometimes, systems will see multiple people at one USD, getting the same email at the same time, as suspicious activity.
