The Governor's Budget Report for FY 2011 is published online in two volumes. SF9118 provides the effects of the Governor’s budget allotments on school districts for the 2009-2010 school year. Base state aid per pupil was reduced by $62 from $4,280 as originally approved by the Kansas Legislature to $4,218. Source: Kansas State Department of Education

SF9108 provides information about the recommendations made by the House Appropriations and Senate Ways and Means committees. The calculations do not include special education state aid. These are general fund budget estimates for 2008-09 school year and projections for the 2009-2010 school year, as recommended by the legislative budget committee. SF9108 is based upon the 2008-09 weighted enrollment. This will change based upon actual enrollment and the appropriate weightings for the 2009-2010 school year. SF9101 provides the effects of final recommendations of the House Appropriations and Senate Ways and Means Conference Committee on Appropriations. The Conference Committee has agreed to recommend for the 2009-2010 school year a base state aid per pupil (BSAPP) of $4,367 and a one percent reduction in special education. Now available from KSDE. At the request of the 2010 Commission, KSDE updated a recent survey conducted by USA|Kansas regarding the number of programs and positions reduced or eliminated due to a lack of funding for the 2009-2010 year. KSDE's survey included data from all unified school districts, interlocals and service centers. According to the survey, approximately 3,700 education positions totaling an estimated $167 million have been eliminated for the 2009-2010 school year, to-date.
