Spotlight on Redistricting
Jun 7, 2012 - 5:59:13 PM
On June 7, 2012, just days after hearing testimony in the case of Robyn Renee Essex v. Kris W. Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State, a federal three-judge panel tasked with redrawing Kansas’ congressional, State Senate, State House and State Board of Education maps rendered a decision and released an entirely new set of maps. The decision came just in time for candidates to meet the noon filing deadline on June 11, 2012.
