USA|Kansas now offers members Liability Insurance programs to protect against costly litigation. Liability insurance protects your assets when sued for something you did (or didn't do) to cause an injury or property damage. The amount of coverage you need depends on several factors that our partner insurance provider can discuss with you. USA|Kansas members have access to legal assistance for job related matters, including: contract review, wrongful dismissal, and involuntary change in status. This service is available to full members after one (1) year of paid membership.
K12Masters has become the national leader in providing best practices and processes in facilities management, offering a broad selection of resources to support superintendents, school business officials, facility directors and other school leaders. Recently, the USA|Kansas Board of Directors voted to become a partner organization and appointed Rob Balsters, Seaman USD 345 Deputy Superintendent and KASBO representative, to serve on the K12Masters Advisory Board.

Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Testimony
Are you thinking of testifying before a committee? Are you unsure of how to go about signing up and preparing for a hearing? Whether it is your first time or the tenth time, it's never a bad thing to brush up on the rules. This information is intended to provide guidance on signing up to testify, help you prepare your testimony and understand the committee rules. 2015-2016 Superintendent Changes The most recent superintendent change list for 2015-2016 is now available online. Please note that this list is subject to change regularly and is based on personnel information we receive from district offices. To submit changes or updated information, please contact the USA|Kansas office at 785.232.6566.

Kansas Statutes for School Administrators. This page includes a list of frequently accessed Kansas Statutes governing public schools, especially school finance.
Recent reports indicate that some school district firewalls may be blocking communication from USA|Kansas and some of our member associations. Sometimes, systems will see multiple people at one USD, getting the same email at the same time, as suspicious activity.
